The Coherence Collective is a senior advisory and coaching firm founded to serve executive leaders and mission-driven organizations navigating the moments that define organizational trajectory.

What we do

A different kind of advisory practice.

The Coherence Collective partners with executives, boards, and senior teams across the nonprofit, philanthropy, government-funded, and social impact sectors — at every stage of organizational life, from startup through transition and beyond. The firm also works directly with individual leaders navigating complexity, transition, or growth, inside or outside of a formal organizational context.

Four service lines anchor the practice: fractional Chief of Staff, fractional People and Talent leadership, senior advisory, and transformational and executive coaching. Each is delivered at the senior level. Each is shaped by organizational and individual need, not a fixed scope. And each begins only when there is genuine alignment on the work to be done.

Every engagement begins with a real conversation about fit — because the work is only as good as the alignment behind it. When there is genuine fit, the engagement tends to produce the kind of outcomes that sustain the relationship beyond the initial scope.

Clarity

The most expensive organizational problem is ambiguity that has been normalized. Clarity about what the organization is doing, why, and how is the operating condition that makes all other work possible.

Discipline

Making hard decisions well requires more than good judgment. It requires the discipline to hold priorities under pressure and protect the conditions that allow the most critical work to move forward.

Trust

Every advisory relationship is built on trust as a structural condition — not a feeling. Full confidentiality, complete candor, and genuine commitment to the right outcome for the client.

Sustainability

The firm advances work at the pace of sustainability, not urgency. This means recommending what is right for this season, being decisive about what is sufficient now, and building toward health that holds.

Access & Equity

Cost should not be a barrier to access.

The Coherence Collective works with smaller mission-aligned organizations and individual leaders on a sliding scale. We believe that the quality of advisory support and coaching available to well-resourced institutions should not be out of reach for leaders doing meaningful work with fewer resources.
